Discipleship Ministry Team

The Discipleship Ministry Team is made up of Christians who believe that God has given them the gifts of teaching, exhortation, and administration. This team works with the pastoral staff to develop, organize, and schedule small group discipleship opportunities and events for our congregation and community.

These are short-term courses which are designed to meet a variety of needs in the Christian life. The classes are available on Wednesdays during the Spring, Winter, and Fall months at 6:30 pm.

“Cross-Walk” schedules are published well in advance to allow students time to register for the course they desire. Most of the courses require a modest fee that covers the cost of materials.

Additional information about “Cross-Walk” courses may be acquired by visiting our CrossWalk website or calling the church office.

Past “Cross-Walk” courses include:
  • By Faith
  • Evangelism Outside of the Box
  • Foundations of the Faith:  Doctrines Baptist Believe
  • Free to Forgive
  • Life Lessons from Women in the Bible
  • The Life-Changing Power of Prayer
  • Effective Parenting in a Defective World
  • Compelled By Love
  • Cultivating Contentment (Women's Study)

Sunday School starts at 9:45 am each Sunday.  Sunday School is a vital part of our educational ministry.  Classes provide opportunities for spiritual growth, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.

There’s a place for everyone in Sunday School at Macedonia.

The Baptist State Convention of NC offers Baptists equipping opportunities throughout the year.  Members of  Macedonia are encouraged to participate in these events when they are made available.
