Worship Ministry Team

The Worship Ministry Team is made up of Christians who believe that God has given them the gifts of serving and exhortation. In addition to their spiritual gifts, the members on this team possess a variety of natural abilities and talents.
This team works with the pastoral staff to make certain every aspect of our worship services honors the Lord and is spiritually encouraging to our congregation.

Celebration Choir

Being a member of the Macedonia Celebration Choir is an opportunity to serve the Lord through song.  The Celebration Choir is made up of adults of all ages who minister to our congregation in our Sunday morning worship services. They also perform special musical cantatas and dramas during the Easter and Christmas seasons.
Although no audition is required to join the Celebration Choir, we do ask members to faithfully attend scheduled rehearsals and worship services.  If you enjoy music, laughter, and singing praises to our Lord, this ministry is for you.  Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings at 7:30 pm.

Children’s Choir

Children’s Choir meets during the regular school year on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.  This ministry is for children first through sixth grades. In addition to occasionally singing in our Sunday morning worship services, the children perform annual Easter and Christmas musicals for our congregation and community.
The Children’s Choir has also ministered to our homebound and residents at local nursing homes.  This ministry is a great way to introduce children to Christian service, worship, and ministry.

Macedonia in Motion
“Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp.”  Psalm 149:3
Bringing glory to God through expressive dance and worship,  Macedonia in Motion is a group of volunteers from children (fourth grade) to adults. No formal dance experience is required. Macedonia in Motion meets on Tuesdays at  6:30 pm for rehearsals and ministers to our congregation during special services and occasionally on Sunday mornings.

Church Decorations

There’s a place for those with a decorative flair on the Worship Ministry Team.  Some members of our team make sure flower arrangements are in place for each Sunday service.  They also decorate our worship center for special events and holiday seasons.  The work of this ministry adds a pleasant visual element to our worship experience.

Communion and Baptism Services
At Macedonia we believe that there are two ordinances prescribed in Scripture to be observed by the New Testament Church.  Those two ordinances are baptism by immersion and Communion (the Lord’s Supper).  The Worship Ministry Team works with the pastoral staff to ensure everything is in place during these special  times of worship.

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!  Sing to the Lord, all the earth.”
Psalm 96:1
