We don't like to have to cancel our services, but when winter weather makes travel dangerous it is best to cancel our activities for safety's sake. When cancelation becomes necessary here is our policy for notifying you of the cancelation We will list the cancelation on the homepage of the church website and someone (most likely your deacon) will call you to let you know services have been canceled. We will also post these cancelations on Channel 3 (WBTV) 9 (WSOC) & 36 (WCNC). They will scroll across the bottom of the screen. These stations are also offering free text and email closing alerts that you can sign up for. Go to the following links to sign up now so that you can be notified if bad weather strikes. WBTV Closing Page WSOC Closing Page WCNC Closing Page On each site you will have to locate the email or text alert sign up link. Once there you will search for the church by name and county and fill in the required information. (You can also sign up for school closing alerts at the same time.) |
